Privacy & cookies

This page describes how Lucid Livestream (“we”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our public marketing site, how we handle public application interest submissions and Lucid Stage profile pages, what choices you have, and where to learn more. This is a summary — it is not legal advice.

Who we are

The public website is operated by Grove Media Inc. (Lucid Livestream). For privacy questions, contact hello@lucid-live.com.

Optional analytics (Google Analytics 4)

If you choose Allow Analytics in the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand aggregate traffic: things like pages viewed, approximate region and city (from IP, then processed at a coarse level), device and browser type, referring site or campaign, and session duration. We do not turn on Google Ads personalization or Google Signals for advertising in our site integration, and we do not use this tool to sell your personal information.

GA4 may set first-party cookies (for example names like _ga and _ga_*) so visits can be counted across sessions. Typical maximum cookie lifetime is up to about two years unless you clear cookies sooner.

When analytics is enabled, we also log outbound link clicks (for example when you follow a link to TikTok or social profiles) as events in GA4 — without extra advertising cookies beyond the analytics cookies described above.

Google processes data on our behalf. See Google’s notice: Google Privacy Policy.

Your choice

We store your analytics choice in browser storage (localStorage) so we do not show the banner on every visit. You can change your mind anytime using Cookie settings at the bottom of the page (when the banner is dismissed) or by clearing site data for this domain.

If you decline analytics, we do not load GA4 and we ask the browser to clear common GA cookies when possible.

Chat widget (some pages)

Pages that load our third-party chat widget may set or read cookies or storage for chat sessions. That processing is governed by the provider’s terms and policies in addition to this notice.

Application interest form and TikTok redirect tracking

If you use our /apply form or /jobs role applications, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, TikTok handle when required for that role, selected live interest (on /apply), and any optional message. We use that information to review interest, follow up with you, and notify our internal team in a private Discord review channel configured by Lucid. We do not use information you submit through the interest form for marketing lists, promotional email campaigns, or paid advertising.

If you click the Apply on TikTok instead button, we record the redirect in our own system using a pseudonymous browser token and limited request metadata so we can count unique interest in that outbound application path without requiring advertising cookies. We do not use that redirect log to serve ads.

We also use Cloudflare Turnstile on the application form to reduce automated spam. Turnstile receives technical information needed to assess whether a submission appears legitimate. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

Lucid Stage public profile pages

Lucid Stage pages are public creator profile pages hosted by Lucid Livestream. If a creator chooses to publish a Stage, the page may display their name, avatar, short bio, social links, and other public links they provide or approve.

We may process basic request data and aggregate traffic information for Stage pages to operate the service, prevent abuse, cache public pages, and understand whether public links are working. Outbound links may take visitors to TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, or other third-party platforms with their own privacy practices.

If a Stage handle is no longer valid, the public page may show an unavailable-handle message rather than creator details. Creators can ask us to update or remove a Stage profile by contacting Lucid through their usual Lucid contact or hello@lucid-live.com.

How we limit handling

We try to keep public application data limited to what we need for recruiting review and response. Internal notifications are restricted to Lucid personnel who handle creator interest intake. We may retain submission records and redirect logs for operational follow-up, fraud prevention, duplicate review, and basic reporting, then delete or minimize them when no longer reasonably needed.

California & other U.S. privacy rights

We do not sell personal information as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) in connection with the practices described here. California residents may have additional rights to know, delete, or correct personal information; contact us at the email above.

European visitors (GDPR / ePrivacy)

Non-essential cookies (such as analytics) are used only after you opt in through the banner. International transfers of analytics data may rely on standard contractual clauses or other mechanisms Google describes in its documentation.
